1.  Visiting of Representative of DAS-UK

Mr Yong Ni – C.E.O SHANGHAI DAS Certification – Representative of DAS Certification – UK visited DAS Vietnam Certification from 11 March 2006 to 15 March 2006. The purpose of visiting is to take the annual assessment of DAS –UK to its Agent to ensure that DAS Vietnam to be compliance with DAS procedures and Guide62, Guide66.

Yong Ni also checked the competence of Lead Auditors and Auditors by attending a Certification Audit activity of DAS Vietnam as a witness assessment. The witness assessment was held in 13 March 2006 at Pre-audit programme of Laser-Medical-Electronic Company Limited with 02 Auditors of DAS – Vietnam including: Ms Nguyen Huong Giang – Master of Art – (Lead Auditor/IRCA) and Mr Le Hoang Hai – PhD degree in Laser Technology – Specialist/ Lead Auditor (IRCA)

The Representative of DAS Certification – UK highly appreciate the competence of Auditors of DAS Vietnam.

DAS-UK at Vietnam and “Hanoi with ISO” – the  Hanoi television program

DAS Vietnam received the great honor to become the typical certification body in Hanoi for Hanoi television program – Hanoi with ISO. On 25-September-2006 Hanoi Television decided to record images about DAS Vietnam with the following content:

1. Some general information and images on the Representative Office of DAS-UK in Vietnam
2. The Auditing activities on Quality Management System - ISO9001:2000 of DAS Vietnam Audit team in Tinh Van information technology company.
3. The environmental control activities of Thang Long Daiwa plastics joint venture company who received the ISO14000:2004 Certification from DAS Vietnam.
